Planting Seeds of Sound is an environmentally conscientious and educational recital series that brings music into the Baltimore community and facilitates conversations and educational activities to the larger community. By programming music on every recital that is intentionally connected to nature, we are able to open up a larger conversation about the environmental impacts of the human race on our planet. From the moment that community members hear about and arrive at our recitals, they will be consuming information that will aid them in building a more environmentally conscious lifestyle. As part of the initiative, every concert attendee will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about becoming more environmentally conscious. Flutists, Chelsea Kaye Anderson and Amanda Dame are looking for future collaborations with venues in the Washington DC and Baltimore areas for Fall 2019 and Spring 2020!
